1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your phone, tablet, or computer when you open a website. They help the website remember your actions and preferences over time so you do not have to re-enter details every time you visit.
2. Why We Use Cookies Oakshub Community uses basic cookies to keep our website running smoothly and securely. We do not use intrusive spyware or sell your browsing history to third-party ad networks.
We use cookies to:
- Keep core website pages loading quickly and reliably.
- Remember your track preferences when you download Camp A or Camp B resources.
- Understand which community guides, tools, and pages members visit most often.
- Prevent spam and protect our community forms from abuse.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
- Essential Cookies: These cookies are strictly necessary for our website to function. Without them, basic features like form submissions, resource downloads, and navigation links will not work properly.
- Performance and Analytics Cookies: These cookies collect anonymous information about how visitors move around our site. For example, they show us if a page fails to load or which community worksheets are downloaded most. This data helps us improve the user experience.
- Functionality Cookies: These allow the website to remember helpful choices you make, such as selected tracks or display settings, so you get a smooth experience each time you return.
4. Third-Party Tools Our community links directly to WhatsApp and occasional external tools to deliver guides, audio files, and spreadsheets. When you tap external links to join our WhatsApp lounges or open hosted files, those third-party platforms may place their own cookies according to their separate privacy policies.
5. How to Control and Manage Cookies
Under GDPR and CCPA guidelines, you have full control over your cookie choices:
- Browser Settings: You can configure your browser to block, alert you about, or delete cookies. Most browsers (such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) let you manage cookie storage in their settings or privacy menus.
- Refusing Non-Essential Cookies: You can choose to reject non-essential analytics cookies. Doing so will not block you from reading our manifesto, accessing tools, or joining the community.
6. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to match new website features or changing privacy regulations. Any updates will appear directly on this page with a revised date.
